Shorashim alumni feel the impact of the trip long after the summer ends...
"I was able to learn so much from the Israelis, and I made some of my best friends and memories I will never forget."
"I feel that the state of Israel is my home. Not just because I am Jewish, but because I have my Shorashim family there."
"I can't believe how much this summer changed my life - I will never forget all of us singing Hatikva at the end of the tracks (at Auschwitz). The pride I felt at that moment was so intense that I'll never be able to describe it to anyone who wasn't there. With more conviction than I've ever had, all I wanted to do at that moment was to go to Israel."
